The Royal Poinciana tree is an iconic flowering Florida tree with flaming orange and red blooms. This tree was made famous by Henry Flagler who built his Royal Poinciana Hotel in Palm Beach as the “Newport of the South”. They are called Flamboyant Trees in the Caribbean and are stunning set against an azure seascape, as shown here. Framed in white lacquered wood under plexi with “deckled” edges revealed.
